Business Proposal Submissions
If you wish to create a Virgin business and submit a business proposal to us, that submission is subject to the particular terms and conditions of the “Business Proposal Submission Agreement” which we ask you to read and tick the tick-box indicating your agreement to those terms and conditions. You will not be able to submit any business proposals to us without agreeing to the terms and conditions of the Business Proposal Submission Agreement.
In order for our open forum to work, you the user must bear sole responsibility for the content which you post on the site and not post anything unless you have appropriate permission and authority to do so. By posting User Content, we have to assume that you are warranting that you have the permission and authority to do so and that, if at any point you no longer have that permission and authority, you will remove the User Content.
In posting User Content to the site, you are basically granting to Virgin.com an irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, worldwide, transferable licence to publish, display, copy, modify, create derivative works from and distribute the User Content on the site. You're also granting Virgin.com the licence to use the User Content in any way for the purpose of publicising the site as well as the products and services of Virgin companies and also to grant sub-licences on the same basis. This licence will terminate when you remove the relevant User Content from the site.

User Code of Conduct
We at Virgin.com are excited about customers and users being able to communicate with each other and share ideas. However, we want all our users to be able to feel safe and at ease whilst using our site. The best way of addressing this balance is to have a user code of conduct.
By using our site you'll be agreeing to these Terms and Conditions including the Code of Conduct in this section.
The virgin.com community is designed where possible to manage itself. Every comment left by a user can be rated and flagged by any other user. A user can positively, neutrally or negatively rate a comment. Also, a user can flag a comment as inappropriate or offensive by clicking a link that says "flag" next to each comment. Flagged comments may be reviewed by the moderators of Virgin.com, who may remove those comments if they feel they are inconsistent with these Terms and Conditions.
So if we believe that a user's behaviour is likely to cause offence or harm to other users or to Virgin, or is otherwise unacceptable, we may issue that user with a warning. In addition, we may need to remove any content which they have shared or posted up on the site. We will try to give that user warnings through the flag and probation system outlined above but we're not obliged to give the user that notice.
To protect our users and the reputation of the site, we may keep an eye on the interaction between users from time to time but please note that we have no obligation to police it.

Virgin Disruptors 2016 Terms & Conditions
Ticketing and payment
The display of the Virgin Disruptors event on Virgin.com is merely a request for the participant to submit an offer for registration. The application for registration for the Virgin Disruptors event is an offer by the participant. Receipt of any registration is confirmed by an email from Virgin.com, which will establish a contract. On receipt of payment the participant will receive a registration confirmation or ticket, which may be sent electronically (e.g. as a link or by email) to the contact details indicated by the participant. The Virgin Disruptors event fee can be paid by credit card, direct debit. and – if so indicated in the registration – by bank transfer. Travel and accommodation are not included in the Virgin Disruptors event fee, The acceptance and presentation of a valid ticket to gain entry to the Virgin Disruptors event constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Tickets are issued subject to the rules and regulations of the venue.
The ticket remains the property of Virgin Disruptors. Tickets may not be transferred, sold, offered for sale or re-sale, coupled or bundled with any other product or services, or used for any commercial or promotional purposes whatsoever without the prior written consent of Virgin Disruptors.
Refusal of admission
If a ticket is used in breach of these terms and conditions it is void and the participant may be refused entry to or rejected from the Virgin Disruptors event.Virgin Disruptors reserves the right to refuse admission and to remove persons from the premises for any reason where necessary. Virgin Disruptors may have to conduct security searches to ensure the safety of persons at the Virgin Disruptors event.
Virgin Disruptors is unable to offer refunds or exchanges in respect of tickets purchased unless the Virgin Disruptors event is cancelled. No tickets are transferable to other events nor are they eligible for resale.
Virgin Disruptors is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage, howsoever caused, to the participant except where any such loss, injury or damage is caused by the negligence of Virgin Disruptors, its employees or agents.
Changes to the Virgin Disruptors event
Virgin Disruptors has the right to change the time, location, agenda or cancel the Virgin Disruptors event. The participant has no legal remedy to claim lost expenses incurred as a result of the cancellation, except in cases of intent or gross negligence. Virgin Disruptors reserves the right to make changes to the planning and organisation of the Virgin Disruptors event and the related agenda, and to replace any speaker by another who is sufficiently qualified to render the services of the original speaker, if there is a legitimate reason. Legitimate reasons include the speaker’s absence due to conflicting engagements, illness or force majeure. Virgin has the right to cancel the Virgin Disruptors event for lack of minimum attendance or for reason of force majeure. The participant may cancel attendance at the Virgin Disruptors event however, no refund will be provided under any circumstances due to the cancellation. The participant may designate a substitute participant, however name-tags for the event may not reflect this change if it is not done within a reasonable period of time.
Rights in the Virgin Disruptors event and related materials
The Virgin Disruptors event and all related materials are protected by copyright and/or trade mark law and all such rights are reserved by Virgin Disruptors. Neither the Virgin Disruptors event nor any related materials, or excerpts thereof, may be reproduced, disseminated or made publicly available without the express consent of Virgin Disruptors. Video and audio recordings at the Virgin Disruptors event are not allowed, unless permitted by Virgin Disruptors in writing before or during the Virgin Disruptors event.
By attending the Virgin Disruptors event, you consent to Virgin.Com LtdVirgin Disruptors making photographic, video and audio recordings at the Virgin Disruptors event which may include the participantyou, and you grants Virgin.Com LtdVirgin Disruptors the exclusive right to use such recordings for promoting Virgin Disruptors eEvents onin Virgin.Com Ltd print and digital media, including social media, perpetually and worldwide, by way of reproducing, disseminating and making publicly available such recordings. The participant may revoke this consent at any time for the future by contacting Virgin,comVirgin Disruptors directly on firstname.lastname@example.org.
Other terms — a final word from our lawyers
If any provision or part of these Terms and Conditions is or becomes illegal, invalid or unenforceable, the legality, validity and enforceability of all of the other provisions and parts of these Terms and Conditions will not be impaired.
No failure or delay by Virgin.com in exercising or enforcing any right, power or remedy which arises under these Terms and Conditions shall operate as a waiver of that or any other right, power or remedy. No waiver by Virgin.com shall be effective unless in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Virgin.com.
